This painting is used as a tutorial for Amaryllis flower painting in oils.
It is a wet-on-wet oil painting that can be completed in a day, it uses a restricted palette of colours
and is a good introduction to large petals and working wet-on-wet.
It uses 7 paint colours and 6 brushes, a suitable size canvas or panel would be 10" x 12" or larger.
