Burnt umber and sienna background to flower painting

Brown Blossoms is the title of this Tole painting.
The background to this painting is a wood grain effect.
Burnt Umber and Burnt Sienna oil paint were applied with a cloth, then brushed and allowed to dry before the design was painted.
The flowers were painted using Burnt Sienna, Titanium White and Zest-it Clear Painting Medium. Using a variety of tonal values, mainly five to each flower.
Value change is needed as there are plenty of turned edges and ruffles to the petals.
The leaves were a mix if Cadmium Yellow and Paynes Grey and Zest-it Clear Painting Medium.
The brushes used are One-stroke and a Rigger brush.
