These ornamental Poppy flowers are painted with tints and shades of orange and red oil paint, from the warm side of the colour wheel. The background is various mixed tones of warm blues and greens, giving the painting a overall 'warm' feel. The painting is on a round 20" canvas and painted wet-on-wet, using mainly flat brushes.
