Pansey painted with oils

These Pansies are painted with Oils, wet on wet and on canvas.

The background is a dark navy blue gesso.

Zest-it Clear Painting Medium was used to 'wet' the canvas. The leaves were painted first followed by the flowers 'stacked' on top of each other.

This is good exercise in painting the many ruffled petals that give Pansies their shape and form.
