Painted on a Burnt
Umber acrylic gesso background, on a 10" round canvas. The colours used
were, Ivory Black, Burnt Umber, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Orange and Titanium White.
Zest-it
Clear Painting Medium was used to give smooth brush work and to
facilitate blending. For the large leaves a 1/2" Sable/synthetic
flat brush, for the small leaves No. 2
Rigger, No. 6 and No. 2 Round Sable brush for the Daises all the fine line
work was completed with the Rigger. A good exercise in double loading,
brush control, blending, tonal values and
