Spring Flowers painted with Oils. This painting of spring flowers is on canvas and painted wet-on-wet with oil paint. The white canvas was first 'wetted' with Zest-it Clear Painting medium and muted background colours were blending in. The position of the flowers was sketched in with thin oil paint, before the background was wetted. The leaves were painted in tones of green and yellow next and the flowers last. Painted from life.
