tole daisy and leaf project
 
   A simple Tole daisy and leaf project using a restricted palette of colours on a black acrylic gesso background, painted wet-on-wet.
The leaves are painted using two double loaded 1/2" Flat Sable brushes. Veins were added with the Rigger brush. A No. 6 and No. 2 Round Sable, were used for the daises, a Rigger for the stems and small white flowers.
This is the main part of the painting, the whole measures 12" x 8" on canvas. Oil paints used, Cadmium Yellow, Lemon Yellow, Sap Green, Burnt Sienna, Titanium White and Ivory Black. 
Zest-it Clear Painting medium was used through out the painting.
