About Zest-it® Waterwax Brush Cleaner
The Waterwax Brush Cleaner was developed for removing wax from watercolour brushes,
Waterwax Brush Cleaner
|The Zest-it Waterwax Brush Cleaner is a non-toxic, non-flammable brush cleaner with a slight yellow colour, it has a mild citrus smell, is kind to brushes and washes out of the brush with water.
It is ideal for cleaning watercolour brushes that have picked-up wax after applying a wash over the wax. It is necessary to wash the brush otherwise the wax can be transfer to the next project.
The Zest-it Waterwax Brush Cleaner is excellent at removing wax from watercolour brushes.
Swish the watercolour brush in the Waterwax Brush Cleaner and work into the brush, it will probably go to a creamy consistency. Rinse the brush under the tap or in a wash bucket, repeat if necessary. You can wash after with soap and water, but this is not usually necessary.
Rinse in cool water and the brush is ready for the next application of watercolour. Waterwax Brush Cleaner is for cleaning brushes and not for mixing with any wax medium.
Have 'safety sense' when using any solvent. Use in a ventilated area, away from sparks and flames, do not heat the product. Keep away from children, do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product (no water bottles in the same area!).
Dispose of the any 'wax/paint sludge' by putting onto damp sand or soil in a container.
